World Cup Ads Head in the Right Direction

Well lookee here. Fresh off our conversations about innovative display ads and great World Cup activations, we’ve got an example that brings the two together (and spikes ‘em with a bit of augmented reality and casual gaming to boot!).

The video above shows a display ad from AT&T, in which users try to head a soccer ball (ok, futbol) into the net. But rather than controlling the game with your keyboard or mouse, you actually head the ball with… your head. Try it yourself right here, although The Awesome Blog is not responsible for any neck injuries you may sustain.

Thanks to Paul Marran for the tip!
