OK Samsung, you are officially mega-awesome

We admit it, Samsung. We’re impressed.

A couple of weeks ago, we sang your praises for your excellent use of projection, and gave you props for supplementing your event marketing with foursquare.

But you couldn’t stop there, could you? You knew we were a sucker for those Youtube takeovers, which always end up being immersive sensory experiences. Plus, you know that we’ve been calling for brands to integrate casual gaming for quite some time now.

So you went out and did all three, and blew our friggin’ minds! Seriously folks, check that link out. Visitors will get to re-watch the outdoor projection, see an unexpected Youtube application, play a casual game, and be entered for a chance to win a 3D television. Man, Samsung (and MUSE Amsterdam/Starcom), you are GOOD.

Ok, Samsung probably didn’t create this campaign just to impress us. But, it’s remarkable how many innovative touchpoints they’ve managed to check off in the course of a single campaign. Better yet, these efforts have been so effectively integrated that the consumer experiences them as related components of a unified message, rather than a scattershot attempt to tackle every tactic du jour. Simply put, it’s an extremely engaging campaign that keeps entertaining, surprising, and delighting the consumer.

Thanks to Paul Marran for the tip!
