High-Engagement Rings

About a week ago, we talked a bit about the tendency for some shiny objects to distract from a campaign’s message. As always, we mentioned that we prefer the simple ideas, brilliantly activated.

Like the campaign pictured to the right, for instance. We don’t need to say much for you to get it, other than the fact that these oversized rings appeared on animal- and marine-themed sculptures across Vancouver. The campaign itself didn’t say much either, other than a small mention of the plasticpollutioncoalition.org on the side of the rings.

What can we say – it’s a powerfully simple message, and a great application of guerrilla marketing. Nicely done.
